Additional Driver
All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements.
Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter.
Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement.
An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers.
The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location.
After Hours Service
After hours service is available at all locations. Customers must pre-arrange pick up and return by booking at least 24 hrs in advance. All after hours returns must be confirmed at the rental counter at the time of pick up and will incur a $10.00 USD fee.
Age Requirements
Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 and maximum age is 75. Drivers between the ages of 21 - 24 will incur an additional daily fee.
Delivery and Collection
Customer must pre-arrange Delivery or Collection of vehicle in advance by contacting the location directly.
One Way Drop Policy
All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges may apply and are payable at the time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid.
Refueling Service
As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.
Option 1 - Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas. Pre-paid gas is available at 5% less than the local fuel prices.
Option 2 - We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50% surcharge will apply.
Option 3 - You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.
Loyalty Availability
Enterprise Plus customers can earn points on qualifying rentals and redeem points at this location. Redemption reservations must be booked online by the customer, in advance of their scheduled pick up date.
Emerald Club customers can earn credits on qualifying rentals at this location. Redemption reservations must be booked in advance of their scheduled pick up date (either online or by phone). Note: Emerald Club members can earn credits on National and Enterprise brand rentals, but can only redeem at National brand locations.
A reservation must be booked in advance, and must have the member number attached, in order to earn credit/points.
Miscellaneous Policy
Unrestricted driving in Suriname only.
Forms of Payment
A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card must match the name and number stored for the online transaction.
Credit Cards honored: MasterCard and VISA
For credit card customers, an authorization on the credit card in the amount of $500 plus the full cost of the rental will be taken at the time of pickup. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of the vehicle or late charges.
For customers renting with cash, they will need to present a current driver's license along with another form of ID (paystub or utility bill). A deposit in the amount of $500 plus the full cost of the rental will be taken at the time of pickup. This deposit amount may be used toward damages for the vehicle or late charges. A qualification form is required for all customers renting with cash. The qualification form is to be filled out at the time of rental.
Debit/Check cards are not accepted at the locations. Debit/Check cards are considered to be any non-credit card with the American Express, MasterCard, VISA, Diners Club, Discover logo.
Roadside Protection
Roadside Protection (RAP) If selected and paid for at the time of rental, owner offers Roadside Assistance. This protection provides roadside assistance 24/7 without additional charges.
RAP includes replacement of lost keys (including remote entry devices), lockout service (providing special equipment is not required to open the car), towing (not related to an accident), and jump-start. Tire damage beyond repair as a result of driver neglect is the responsibility of the renter.
Renter Requirements
Must meet the location's minimum age requirements.
Present a valid driver's license from the customer's country of origin.
Present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental.
International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.
Arrival Directions
Exit the customs and baggage area and proceed to the rental counter in the Main Terminal. The rental agent will transport the customer to our downtown location to obtain the rental agreement and vehicle.
Third Party Liability
Third Party Liability (TPL) is included in the Time and Mileage rate. TPL provides coverage, up to the policy limits, for damages and injuries to third parties during the rental period in Suriname. TPL coverage is subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement. This meets or exceeds the minimum financial responsibility limits - at no additional charge to you - as outlined in the applicable motor vehicle financial responsibility laws.
