Additional Driver
All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. Additional drivers can be added to the contract at any rental location within the same country and at any time during the rental. An additional driver fee of 9.50 EUR incl. VAT (21%) per day applies.
After Hours Service
When returning the rental car outside the opening hours of the rental location you have to park the vehicle on Enterprise assigned parking spaces follow the road signs -Car Rental Return- at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and lock the vehicle. Accordingly place the key in the drop box located on the Enterprise counter inside the terminal.
Age Requirements
The minimum age requirement to rent all vehicles is 25. The maximum age to rent is 80. Renters between the age of 18 and 24 may rent all categories except Full Size, Premium, Luxury and Special. A young driver fee of 10.00 EUR per day applies to all renters between the age of 18 and 24. Young drivers must have held their driving license for a minimum of 1 year.
Cross Border Policy
Vehicles can be driven in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Italy, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the Vatican (Area 1). Any islands are excluded from cross border travels. Travels to Norway and Sweden are only permitted between 1st May and 30th September. On request vehicles may also be driven in Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia (Area 2).
Standard, Fullsize, Premium, Luxury Special vehicles as well as the brands Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Volkswagen are not permitted to go into Area 2. A surcharge of 5.00 EUR per day excl. VAT (21%) will apply for all cross border travels to Area 2. Prior authorization to leave the country with the vehicle is not required except when traveling to countries in Area 2. Driving the vehicle into any unauthorized country without prior authorization is a breach of contract and will require the customer to pay for all recovery expenses.
Damage Waiver

If CDW is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase.CDW reduces the excess to €1,100 for Mini, Economy, and Compact vehicles; €1,400 for Intermediate and Standard vehicles; and €1,700 for Full‑size, Premium, and Luxury vehicles. For Special category vehicles, the excess is reduced to €3,000. The excess will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged, lost or stolen.Before purchasing CDW, it is advisable to determine if the renter's personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If CDW is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the excess amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. CDW is not insurance.

Collision Damage Waiver Super Cover (CDWS) is an optional coverage which reduces the liability in the event of damage or theft of the vehicle when no responsible third party is identified. If purchased or included in the rate the deductible for the car categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate, Standard and Full size is reduced to 450 EUR, for the car categories Premium, Luxury and Full-Size SUV it is reduced to 600 EUR and for the Special vehicle category the deductible is reduced to 1500 EUR.
This product only covers damages to the body of the vehicle. It does not cover roof, tires or windows, broken/loss of keys, or contamination of fuel. Damage to the underbody and-or roof due to collision with bridges, tunnels, overhanging structures, etc. is excluded from the damage cover unless a force majeure can be proved.
Before purchasing CDWS it is advised to determine if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage, or impound fees. If CDWS is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. CDWS is not insurance.

Delays Policy
For all reservations, there is a lead time of 1 hour from the time the booking is made before it is confirmed. All vehicles will be held for up to half an hour after the scheduled pick-up time during opening hours. If you are running late, please contact the branch to make them aware.
One Way Drop Policy
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it was collected from will be subject to a one-way fee. The one-way fee varies based on car category, location, and pick-up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, desired route, and car category. For all one-way rentals (domestic or international) authorization must be obtained either prior to arrival or at the rental counter. If the hirer returns the vehicle one way without authorization or returns the vehicle to any other location than the return location reflected on their rental agreement, an additional repatriation fee will be charged. Unauthorized international one-way drop-offs will incur a repatriation fee of €1200 (excluding VAT), in addition to the applicable standard one-way fee. Domestic one-way drop-offs are available between rental branches in the Netherlands. International one-way drop-offs are possible at selected Airports branches in Belgium, France, Germany, and Luxembourg only.
Exclusive Policy
Cost of rental includes Time and Distance (with mileage limitations based duration of rental), Supplemental Liability Protection, VAT and Airport Fee (where applicable).
Excess Reduction

ER is only available to purchase if Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is selected or included in the reservation. The purchase or inclusion of ER reduces the customer's liability to 500 EUR in cases of damage to the bodywork, tires or glass, theft or attempted theft of the rental vehicle. You must adhere to all rental terms and conditions to receive the benefits of ER.Before purchasing ER it is advised to determine, if a personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If ER is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the Collision Damage Waiver excess amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. ER is not insurance.
Refueling Service
As a customer, you can choose how to pay for fuel or EV recharging when returning the vehicle.You may refuel or recharge the vehicle to the same level as received at the time of rental. If you choose not to refuel or recharge the vehicle to the same level, you will be charged the local rate, which is typically above the local fuel price or kilowatt-per-hour price.Before the rental, you may opt to prepay for a full tank of fuel or battery charge. Prepay gives you two conveniences: You can avoid the hassle of refueling or recharging the vehicle before returning. You will be charged for the full tank of fuel or electric charge upfront at a competitive rate and you can return the vehicle empty.Note: Prepaid fuel is only sold in full tanks at the discounted price per gallon/liter. Local fuel and kilowatt rates will vary by the area in which you are renting a vehicle. A full EV charge is considered above 80%. No refund will be offered for unused fuel or battery charge.
Miscellaneous Policy
All-season tires are available to purchase at time of pick-up on a limited number of car categories between 1 November and 31 March for a daily charge of 25,00 Euro and maximum 250,00 Euro per rental. In cases of loss or damage a replacement fee of up to 3500,00 Euro applies. If travelling cross border all-season tires may be a legal requirement. Please check with the rental branch at time of rental.
Forms of Payment
All major credit cards, issued by either American Express, Mastercard, Visa and Diners Club are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Digital cards (Apple Pay/Google Pay etc.), traveler checks, prepaid cards, cash, debit cards and retail store cards are not accepted as methods of payment. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. The deposit is 400 EUR for the categories Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate and Standard and 800 EUR for the categories Full-Size, Premium and Luxury. For the categories Special the deposit is 5000 EUR. Please note that for the Luxury and Special vehicles two major credit cards in the main drivers name are required for security purposes.
Renter Requirements
All drivers must present a fully valid driving license. Electronic or digital driving licenses are not accepted. All drivers must have held their license for at least 1 year. In addition, all renters must present a valid photo ID such as a passport or government-issued photo ID. A valid credit card in the renter's name must be presented upon collection of the vehicle. If the driving license is written in a language and characters different from those of the country of rental, an International Driving Permit is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
Roadside Assistance PLUS
Enterprise provides 24/7 Breakdown and Assistance Service to the customer. This service is handled by ANWB Roadside Assistance. Further information specific to the Roadside Assistance, including the 24/7 assistance telephone number, will be provided at the time of rental. Roadside assistance is provided with the rental free of charge in case of mechanical breakdown, not due to driver negligence of willful misconduct.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car Roadside Assistance PLUS protection option:
Roadside Assistance PLUS offers an additional cover for the call out costs* related to breakdowns caused by drivers fault; flat tire,battery, lost keys or keys locked in the vehicle, out of fuel, refueling wrong type of fuel or tire exchange*.
*Excludes the eventual cost to repair the vehicle and any travel cost to exchange the vehicle.
In order to benefit from this cover, Renter must make contact with the dedicated Breakdown and Assistance Service immediately after the occurrence of the incident. If the Renter does not contact the Breakdown and Assistance Service and if Renter initiates steps or make any disbursements without the prior consent, the Roadside Assistance PLUS coverage does not apply.
A basic break down service is included in your rental to cover call out costs for mechanical faults.

Supplemental Liability Protection
Supplemental Liability Protection (SLP) is required by law and included in all rates. This protection provides the renter and any authorised drivers coverage against bodily injury and property damage that you might inflict on a third party as a result of an accident involving the vehicle. The amounts of liability cover are available upon request. You must comply with all rental terms and conditions to receive the benefit of SLP.
Third Party Liability
All the vehicles in the enterprise fleet are insured against bodily injury and property damage that you might inflict on a third party as a result of an accident involving the vehicle. The amounts for such liability cover are available on request. In particular, you must comply with the rule concerning permitted destinations, as set out in the - General Car Rental conditions of Enterprise Rent - A - Car NL - in order to have the full benefit of the insurance provisions.
Tire and Windshield Protection
