Glass Protection
ACDW - Additional Collision Damage Waiver is extra protection which covers damage to the rental vehicle windscreen, subject to the terms and conditions of your rental agreement and applicable laws.
Additional Driver
Rental conditions apply to all additional drivers. Additional fees are applicable for each added driver.
After Hours Service
RETURN VEHICLE TO THE ENTERPRISE RETURNS PARKING GARAGE. LOCK THE VEHICLE AND PLACE KEYS IN THE KEY BOX LOCATED BY THE RENTAL COUNTER.
Age Requirements
The minimum age requirement to rent all vehicles is 25. There is no maximum rental age. Renters between the age of 18 and 20 may rent all categories except Premium and Luxury. A young driver fee of 9.47 EUR per day applies to all renters between the age of 18 and 20. Young drivers must have held their driving license for a minimum of 1 year. Renters between the age of 21 and 24 may rent all categories except Premium and Luxury. No additional fees apply to these young drivers.
Cross Border Policy
Cross border travel is allowed, and it is necessary to give this information at the counter at pick up time.
Damage Waiver
CDW Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) limits the renters financial responsibility for loss and damage to the rental vehicle. If not included in the reservation CDW coverage is an optional protection product which is available for purchase.
If the rental agreement terms and conditions were not violated; the renter will be only responsible for the applicable excess:
1180.80 EUR for a Mini and Economy
1970.00 EUR for Compact Manual, Compact Wagon Manual and Compact SUV Manual, Compact Hybrid Automatic
2830.00 EUR for Compact Automatic and Compact Wagon Automatic, Manual and Automatic Intermediate and Int. SUV, Premium and Luxury Wagon
This coverage excludes acts of vandalism, tires and rims, windshield, superior and inferior part of the vehicle without collision and non-compliance with the rules of the road.

One Way Drop Policy
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as pick-up will be subject to a one-way fee. Domestic and international one-way rentals are permitted to selected locations and must be pre-booked or authorized at the time of pick-up. The one-way fee varies based on car category, location and pick up date. The exact amount of the one-way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, desired route and car category. Madeira is an exception, unidirectional Drops are not possible in Madeira and vehicles rented on the island must be returned at the same pick-up location.
Exclusive Policy
Total charges include unlimited KM, Third Party Liability and Government Rental Fee.
CDW- Collision Damage Waiver is not included and must be taken unless alternative coverage can be verified at time of rental.
Additional protection products may be purchased.
Excess Reduction
Excess Reduction
This complementary product allows to reduce the value of the minimum deductible, varying according to the different groups of vehicles.
Refueling Service
All vehicles are delivered with a full tank of petrol and vehicles must be returned in the same condition. Clients should leave a fuel deposit of 150.00 EUR. If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, in addition to petrol shortage an extra charge of 30.00 EUR for refueling service will apply.
Insurance Policy
THIRD PARTY INSURANCE PORTUGAL MAINLAND - 50 MILLION EUROS COVER ENTERPRISE CARS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INSURANCE CERTIFICATE. THE VIOLATION OF THE ENTERPRISE RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR UNREPORTED ACCIDENTS MAY VOID THIS INSURANCE. MADEIRA ISLAND - 50 MILLION EUROS COVER ENTERPRISE CARS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INSURANCE CERTIFICATE. THE VIOLATION OF THE ENTERPRISE RENTAL AGREEMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS OR UNREPORTED ACCIDENTS MAY VOID THIS INSURANCE.
Personal Accident Insurance
PORTUGAL MAINLAND, MADEIRA AND AZORES - PAI Personal Accident Insurance covers the passengers and driver in the event of death or total permanent disability up to a maximum of EUR 15,000 and medical expenses up to a maximum of EUR 1500. The cost of PAI is EUR 5.57 excluding VAT per day for all groups up to a maximum of EUR 83.57 per rental.
Forms of Payment
Portugal - Mainland, Madeira and Azores
Accepted methods of payment: Visa Credit, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted as well as vouchers.
DEPOSITS: All customers are required to place a deposit taken in the form of a credit card authorization. Deposits will be blocked on the credit card and the below amounts apply :
Mini and Economy: 600 EUR
All Other: 1000 EUR
In case customers accept the Super CDW or Excess Reduction, the amount to be left is reduced by half (EUR 300 for Mini and Economy, EUR 500 for the remaining groups). The deposit is made at the beginning of the rental for missing fuel, additional days, damages, services, etc.
If at the end of the rental, there is some amount to charge relating to any of the mentioned items, this deposit will be used. In case the amount to be charged, at the end of the rental, is higher than the deposit amount, the driver is responsible for the differential amount.
Roadside Protection
Roadside Assistance TOP
TOP Travel Assistance allows you to have no towing costs or on-site assistance and exempts costs in case of:
1) Forgetting the key inside the vehicle;
2) Immobilization due to lack of fuel;
3) Help in case of a lack of battery;
4) Loss of vehicle key;
5) Immobilization of the vehicle;
6) Fuel change;
7) Travel assistance for punctured tire;
8) Accident with driver's responsibility
All services can only be requested through direct contact with Guerin. A service will be diagnosed so that the client can continue his trip. If any damage is caused to the rental vehicle that is not covered by the Road Protection service, the renter will be responsible for it.
Road protection is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (365 days)
Renter Requirements
PORTUGAL MAINLAND, MADEIRA AND AZORES: Renters must have a full current driving license valid at least 1 year-vehicle groups: Economy, Compact and Intermediate

Super Collision Damage Waiver
Total Car Rental Protection - SCDW
This complementary product is available to customers who have purchased CDW or TP (and only for them) and reduces the minimum deductible to zero. Damage caused to windows, wheels (tires and rims), optics, headlights and rear-view mirrors, damage to the lower or upper part of the body, or damage to the interior of the vehicle, are not included.
The customer is also covered in the event of damage caused by vandalism.
Arrival Directions
Please be aware that all Porto Airport car rental providers are located 2 minutes away by shuttle transfer. Once at the Arrivals Terminal, exit straight onto the sidewalk. On your right there will be a shuttle branded Guerin/Enterprise to take you to the branch. The shuttle runs every six minutes.
Supplemental Liability Protection
THIRD PARTY INSURANCE:
PORTUGAL MAINLAND, MADEIRA AND AZORES: 50 Million EUR cover Enterprise cars in accordance with the insurance certificate. The violation of the Enterprise rental agreement terms and conditions or unreported accidents may void this insurance.
Supplemental Liability Protection Exclusions/Voids
Third Party Insurance will be voided if damage is caused by: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized driver, racing or speed contest competition, unlicensed driver or driver training, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off of a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire, driving in violation of local traffic laws, failure to secure the car keys, or failure to lock or secure the vehicle.
Toll Pass Policy
Toll Roads are only present in mainland Portugal. All vehicles are equipped with toll devices. The cost of used toll roads is not included in the rental.
The toll device allows you to drive through toll roads and SCUTs without stopping.
At the end of the car rental period, you will be charged for the recorded movements and use of the service. This service is activated only when you drive through a SCUT and/or toll with the device, and you are only billed for the number of days you use the device.
There are two types of tolls in Portugal. The traditional motorway toll and the SCUTS. On SCUTS, tolls are simple arcs in the road that identify the vehicle as it passes and calculate the amount to be paid.
Due to the delay between the use of the toll road and us being informed about its use, you may see a charge on your account up to 4 weeks after your return date.
Theft Protection
Theft Protection
TP Theft Protection limits the renter's financial responsibility for loss by theft of the rental vehicle or components. To activate this protection the presentation of the theft report and the vehicle's original key are needed . If not included in the reservation, TP is an optional protection product which is available for purchase at the counter.
If Guerin-Enterprise rental agreement terms and conditions were not violated; the renter will be only responsible for the applicable excess which ranges from 1180.80 EUR for a Mini, 1968.00 EUR for a Compact and SUV, 2829.00 EUR for a Premium and Minivan, 3075.00 EUR for Commercial and 3690.00 EUR for the Premium Limousine car group.
Toll Pass Waiver
TPD - Toll Pass Device is available for Portugal mainland and covers travel on toll roads within Portugal. Daily rate is 1.85 EUR including VAT with a maximum rental fee of 18.50 EUR including VAT. In the event of loss and or damage to TPD equipment a replacement fee of 36.90 EUR will apply. TPD is offered at the rental counter with a credit card method of payment only.

This complementary product consists of eliminating the customer's responsibility for isolated glass breakage, damage to wheels (tires and rims), rear view mirrors, headlights and optics.
