Additional Driver
All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. The main driver must present the original driver's license of any additional drivers if they cannot be present at the rental counter. All additional drivers must appear at the rental counter, present their driver's license, and sign the rental agreement. Additional drivers can be added to the contract at any rental location within the same country and at any time during the rental. An additional driver fee of 4.00 OMR per day applies. The maximum fee is 75.00 OMR.
After Hours Service
After Hours pickups- Rental location services after hours with 24 hours minimum advance notice. Customers can contact our rental agent at 968 99312836 or send an email to travelsll at ouat.co.om. A premium fee of 5.00 OMR is applied for after hour service.
After Hours returns- Customer needs to make a request to the Rental agent on the counter while picking up the car that he or she would like to return after hours and they must provide a scheduled time and preferred branch location for the return. Also the customer can call 968 99312836 or send an email to travelsll at ouat.co.om 24 hours prior to return and request for an after hour return or drop to a desired branch location. Our rental agent will be waiting at the branch wearing an Enterprise uniform to meet and greet the customer and facilitate the rental check in accordingly. A premium fee of 5.00 OMR applies for after hour service.
Age Requirements
Minimum age to rent- 23 to 29 years old for car groups Economy to Compact, Intermediate-Midsize and 30 years old for Standard and above. No young driver fee applies.
Maximum Age to rent- 70 years old
Cross Border Policy
Vehicles can be driven in U.A.E. Ferry crossings with the vehicle are not permitted. A cross-border fee of 45.00 OMR per rental applies.
In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle and require authorization. Customers are required to inform the rental branch about any cross-border travel at least 48 hours in advance and provide a copy of their driving license and passport. The passports of non-GCC nationals must also have a valid and stamped visa.
The border crossing permit will be provided at the rental counter upon pickup.
Unauthorized cross-border travel will result in a breach of contract and incur a penalty charge of 100.00 OMR.
Damage Waiver
Our standard damage waiver cover provides excess coverage for damage applied to the body of the rental vehicle and/or theft. It does not cover damage to tires during the rental. If not included in your reservation a daily fee depending on the car group rented is applicable for CDW. If CDW is included or purchased, the renter will be responsible for an excess-deductible of 150.00 OMR in cases of damage caused to the rental vehicle. A police report is mandatory for all insurance claims. In the absence of a police report the renter is responsible for the entire damage repair cost.
Damage Waiver Exclusions/Voids
Damage Waiver does not cover damage caused by the use of the wrong fuel or any failure to take all reasonable measures to look after the vehicle keys or any other device which unlocks the vehicle and/or enables the vehicle to be started.
Damage Waiver will be voided if damage is caused by: failure to secure the vehicle keys and failure to lock the vehicle, unauthorized repairs on the vehicle, failure to stop using the vehicle once a fault becomes known, use by an unauthorized driver, use by an unlicensed driver, use for hire and reward, use of vehicle for any illegal purpose or deliberately causing injury or damage to property, racing, pace making, or teaching someone to drive, use whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, use of the vehicle outside of the Sultanate of Oman without our written permission, overloaded with more passengers than seatbelts, towing, use off road, transporting dangerous or noxious substances or use of vehicle in a reckless manner.
One Way Drop Policy
If the car is collected at one location and then dropped off at a different location a one-way fee to cover the cost of returning the car to the original location will apply. 72 hours prior notification is required for all one-way rentals. Should the rental vehicle be dropped off at a location other than the one originally agreed without notification; the customer will incur a penalty fee of 100.00 OMR.
Exclusive Policy
Total rental cost for inclusive rate products will include CDW Collision Damage Waiver and TP Theft Protection. All vehicles will have limited mileage. This will vary depending on the car class selected and length of rental.
Refueling Service
When you pick your car up, the fuel tank will be full or partly full. The customer is expected to replace the fuel you’ve used or a refuelling service fee will be charged. The service fee is 2.00 OMR plus the cost of the missing fuel based on market rates, approximately 0.220 Baisa per liter, but please note that market rates can fluctuate.
Forms of Payment
All major credit cards, issued by either American Express, Mastercard and Visa are accepted. Credit cards must have at least 6 months validity at the time of rental. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Approved Vouchers and Cash, when supported with a valid credit card, are accepted.
Security Deposits - Rental deposit which is held on the customer's credit card will consist of the cost of the rental, fuel and damage waiver excess which amounts to 150.00 OMR for all car groups.

Roadside Protection
Basic roadside assistance is provided by AAA free of charge. This service includes tow up to 100 kilometers to the nearest service facility. Battery charge, flat tire replacement, fuel delivery, door unlocking service and minor roadside repairs. Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week and the AAA Emergency number is 968 93877124.
Renter Requirements
Renter Requirements- Drivers license must have been held for at least one year. Holders of an International Driving License are required to also show their Passport at the time of rental as an additional form of identification.
Arrival Directions
When you arrive in the Arrival Hall, please follow the signs for Car Rental. Head to your left and take the escalator down to Floor ‘0’.
The Enterprise/Alamo/National Rent-a-Car office is the last one on the lefthand side.
Zero Excess
Zero Excess (ZE) is an optional coverage available only if Damage Waiver (DW) is included in the rate or purchased. ZE reduces the applicable Damage Waiver excess amount. If Zero Excess is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase.
For all Cars and SUVs the excess can be reduced to 0 OMR.
If ZE is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges up to the Damage Waiver excess amount and seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage, if they have one. ZE is not insurance.
