Cross Border Policy
It is only allowed to drive the rented vehicle within the territory of Brazil. Delivery and Collection
Pickup and Return Rules and Conditions (Overtime) - No loyalty: The daily rate includes 24 hours usage with up to one hour tolerance for the return. From the 25th (twenty-fifth) hour on, an extra hour will be charged corresponding to 1/5 of the daily rate for each extra hour. From the fifth extra hour onwards the total daily rate will be charged.
One Way Drop Policy
All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it is collected from will be subject to a one way fee. The one way fee varies based on car category, location and pick up date. The exact amount of the one way fee will be displayed during the reservation process when entering the dates, desired route and car category.
If the renter does not choose to purchase an optional fuel product at the start of the rental period and does not return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as at the start of the rental period (as indicated on the Rental Agreement) the renter will be required to pay a refueling service fee calculated as the difference between the fuel level recorded on the Rental Agreement and that recorded upon the return of the vehicle multiplied by the fuel price displayed at the branch. Unused or excess fuel will not be refunded.
Forms of Payment
It is mandatory to present a physical credit card in the customer's name with an available limit for pre-authorization and/or future payments. We accept cash in the form of BRL, debit/credit card payment upon return of the vehicle. Credit Cards Honored: American Express®, MasterCard® and VISA®. An authorization on the credit card will be taken on all rentals and the deposit amount may vary, based on the pickup location, dates of rental, and type of vehicle rented. This authorization amount may be used toward damage or late charges in the event vehicle is returned with damage or late.
All customers must be over 18 years old, have a valid driver’s license from country of origin, show the Passaport/CRNM (National Migration Registration) and a physical credit card in addition to the valid driver’s licence. The name on the credit card must match the name of the renter. A percentage of the final amount of the rental agreement (12%) will be charged as a rental/service fee to cover operating costs and help maintain a great quality infrastructure. If the driving license is written in a language and characters different to those of the country of rental, an International Driving Permit is also required. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines. Renters with licenses from countries who are not part of the International Driving Permit Agreement should carry a certified translation.
